Each Amish-made bed is crafted from solid hardwood, shaped, cut, refined, and finished into environmentally friendly heirloom furniture masterpieces. The hardwood used in our beds is sustainably harvested domestically in the Midwest using the most environmentally friendly harvesting techniques. Once the wood is harvested, it is processed in nearby mills to minimize pollution and energy costs before taking a short journey to our builder’s shops, where our environmentally friendly furniture pieces are handcrafted.

It also has a ledge on the bottom for the rail to rest on, so all the weight is on the bracket. The most popular paint colors are white and black with a matte finish.
