The Double Pedestal Dining Table

For solid wood furniture, the Double Pedestal Dining Table is a flexible piece. It has so many options, you won’t recognize it once you’ve chosen yours. This table is shown in Oak with the MV Special finish. Also optional is the scalloped table top with the ogee edge. The feet are shown in bear claw style but can be plain or cabriole; choose four or six feet. Even the pedestals and rail have numerous handcrafted looks.

As always, the table is made to last and to be useful. It opens with durable geared slides to reveal up to four self-stored leaves. However, it can accept up to thirteen leaves, with or without skirts, for big occasions. The leaves are numbered on the bottom so you will always know which way to add them to the table. The pedestals are lighter than they look, making the table easy to assemble. Hollow pedestals allow you to work from both sides to bolt the legs and spindle rail. The tabletop base attaches to the pedestals with eight large bolts in total. The Double Pedestal Dining Table is a testament the the versatility of sturdy Amish craftsmanship.
